THE Scunthorpe United London and South East Supporters' Club (SULSESC) is almost 40 years old – and continues to thrive.
Formed in 1987 by a group of six Iron fans living in London and the south-east with the intention of uniting exiled Scunthorpe supporters, the club has been in operation ever since.
None of the original half-a-dozen could ever have imagined that SULSESC would still be going strong four decades later but throughout the highs of United’s Championship years and the lows of a drop to National League North, London Supporters’ Club members have maintained their support of SUFC.
We continue to provide company for those travelling to games home and away and visit pubs up and down the country in an attempt to soften the blow of another 3-0 defeat.
The club is a member of APFSCIL and participates in the six-a-side darts league (another excuse for more beer consumption).
Over the years, members of SULSESC have been actively involved in fund-raisers for charity, with cycle rides from London to games in Scunthorpe, Bournemouth, Preston and Torquay.
We are also regular supporters of SUFC by way of match, kit and matchball sponsorship.
